Terms of Service

Last updated: 2026-04-25

Acceptance

By using Xerobit (xerobit.dev), you agree to these terms. If you don't agree, please don't use the site.

What Xerobit provides

Xerobit provides free developer utilities that run in your browser — JSON formatters, encoders, regex testers, and similar tools. Some informational content (blog posts, references) is also provided.

Acceptable use

You may not:

No warranty

Xerobit is provided "as is," without warranty of any kind. We make a best effort to ensure tools are correct (JSON validators actually validate JSON, hashes are computed correctly, etc.), but you are responsible for verifying results against authoritative sources for any critical use.

Do not rely on Xerobit alone for security-critical operations (JWT verification, cryptographic hashing of sensitive data, etc.). These tools are for development and inspection, not for production security decisions.

Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, Xerobit and Mian Ali Khalid are not liable for any damages arising from use of the site, including but not limited to lost data, incorrect tool output, or security incidents.

Intellectual property

Site content (text, design, tool source code) is copyright Mian Ali Khalid unless otherwise noted. The site's source is available under the MIT License on GitHub.

Changes

We may update these terms. Material changes will be noted on this page with an updated date.

Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws applicable to the operator's jurisdiction, without regard to conflict of laws.
