What these tools are for

Text rarely arrives in the shape you need. Sometimes it has to change form: a message turned into Morse code for a puzzle, a ham-radio exercise or a tattoo. Sometimes it has to change look: a profile bio in ꜱᴍᴀʟʟ ᴄᴀᴘꜱ, a chemical formula with real subscripts, a footnote marker in superscript. These tools handle both, and they work on any device without an app or an account.

How Unicode text styles work

Social networks and chat apps strip formatting like bold or font size when you paste. The trick behind “small text” and “fancy font” generators is that they don’t format anything: they swap each letter for a different Unicode character that happens to look like a smaller or styled version of it. Because they are ordinary characters, they survive copy and paste into Instagram, TikTok, Discord, X and most other places.

The trade-off is accessibility and search. Screen readers may read ᴛɪɴʏ letter by letter or skip it, and search engines don’t treat it as the same word as “tiny”. Use styled text for decoration, a name, a heading, a signature, and keep the important words in plain text.

Morse code in a sentence

Morse code encodes each letter as a short pattern of dots and dashes. The Morse Code Translator converts both ways as you type, and plays the result as sound at the speed you choose, so you can learn to hear it rather than only read it.
